Behind the scene: Tour Consultants in China
In our office in Guilin, 10 staffs works there, and 15 more people work as tour guides, more as experienced drivers; In our office in Guangzhou, over 20 staffs works there...
In Guilin office, There are 4 online travel consultants, every consultant tailors 6-10 NEW itineraries for our clients per day, answers dozens of queries for existing reservations...Usually only 40% of our clients will reply our first quotation by email, and 10-20 % of the total enquiries will become successful business, the average amount of email for each successful booking is 8.8 in 2005...We are very busy in April and October, when Canton Trade Fair is held in Guangzhou, because there are many clients ask for a trip before or after the Fair. Glad to tell you that we are also one of the biggest hotel suppliers during the fair.
